The Beach Boys are on tour celebrating their 50th anniversary.

You read that correctly, FIFTY years.

Before the Space Needle was finished they were doing it and doing it quite well thank you.

One of the best shows I have ever seen in my life was the Beach Boys and I have seen them all.

The Beatles were of course huge Beach Boys fans. Without "Pet Sounds" from America's Beach Boys there would be no "Sgt. Pepper". The Beatles' "Back in the USSR" from the White album was a direct salute to the Beach Boys.

So...here we are. 2012 and the Beach Boys are still doing it.

Long live the mighty Beach Boys.
