One of the groups that really sent me into orbit as a kid was Led Zeppelin. My best friend Kevin Carney & I took the bus up from Tacoma to see them at the Green Lake Aqua theatre in May 1969. At this point there was no Led Zeppelin II, album or person.  

Now, news comes this week that Led Zeppelin II, the person, has died. Or maybe rambled onto that stairway to heaven. Thank goodness we still have Led Zeppelin II the album. For my money Led Zeppelin 1 was better but II was plenty good. - SS
