Now it's time to help my little girl find a place to live in the city (and by city, I mean somewhere more realistic like Brooklyn). 

I started doing some research on various websites that offer classified for rent listings, and came upon an incredible apartment! In the city, close to the subway and IN HER PRICE RANGE. "This is too good to be true!" I thought. That was my first sign.

I emailed the lister, and told them of our situation. If the unit was still available. we'd love to look at it. To my amazement, the unit WAS available. But the email gave me quite a few reasons to pause.

IS this the classic case of attempted fraud? Doesn't the website I found the listing on check these things for validity? Was I actually born YESTERDAY?
