... Cave B Inn, right on the border of the Gorge amphitheatre. A scant 2 hours drive time from Seattle, it doesn't take too long and it's a beautiful drive.

Cave B is a luxurious spot - on site spa, winery, and restaraunt (Tendrils...yum). You can rent a room in the lodge, rent a yurt, or my favorite - rent a cliff house. These houses, studio or 2 bedroom, are perfectly appointed for a relaxing weekend away. You can bring your dogs, too, which is a huge bonus. My dogs LOVE it, considering there is nothing but room to run and a trail system that leads from the property down to the Columbia River. For hikers, it's a dream within a dream because you can relax all day and drink in the wine and the sunshine, then hike your way down to the water.

I've been to Cave B 20 times, at least. We come for baby showers with the girls, romantic weekends with my husband, and most recently last weekend with my girlfriends to get the hell outta town.
