TGIF ! Thank Goodness Its Football Season.
Its been a long offseason and I cant wait until we get to watch a full slate of NFL games Sunday including the Seahawks opener in Arizona.
The Hawks have a tough schedule this year including hosting the Cowboys, Packers and Patriots in the first three home games but if the injury bug doesn't bite us too hard I see football being played by this team well past New Years.
I will give you my Office Pool picks all season long right here on my blog. Feel free to play along at home and let me know your picks as well. Week one is tough to get the picker warmed back up but here it goes.
NY Giants over Dallas ( If you have seen Eli Mannings Super Bowl Rings you know that he likes big games with lots of people watching. Tonight will be one of those)
Seattle over Arizona ( Beast Mode is questionable with back spasms. I doubt he will miss but we will still be rolling with the debut of The Turbinator. )
Chicago over Indy ( Bad Luck for Andrew having to start his NFL career against the Bears D )
Philly over Cleveland ( Nobody hates Vick more than The Dog Pound but that wont matter )
Buffalo over NY Jets ( I think the Bills are better this year. I think the Jets just become more of a Circus with Tebow in the Center Ring )
New Orleans over Washington ( The off season problems for the Saints are going to catch up with them but not in week one )
Tennessee over New England ( It will be a big upset but I like Jake Locker to make his mark in this one )
Jacksonville over Minnesota ( Will AP and MGD play ? Does anyone except Fantasy Football players care ? )
Houston over Miami ( Arian Foster all day long in this one )
Detroit over St. Louis ( Lions RB's hurt but they dont really need any with Stafford throwing to Megatron )
Kansas City over Atlanta ( Jamal Charles will prove he's back in a home upset )
Green Bay over San Fransisco ( We need the Pack to give the Niners an early season loss as they will be the team that stands in the Seahawks way )
Tampa Bay over Carolina ( Cam Newton gets all the attention but Josh Freeman takes this one )
Denver over Pittsburgh ( Welcome back Peyton Manning ! )
Baltimore over Cincinatti ( The Ravens D is aging, but aging gracefully )
San Diego at Oakland ( I know the Raiders would love to win on MNF for Al Davis but Phillip Rivers loves Monday's too )
There you have week one ! Got a problem with my picks ? Let me hear about it !
Cheers, Joe
