I am not sure why but Eddie Vedder's new song released today titled  "Skipping" got me a little moist in the eyes this morning when I heard it for the first time.

 Eddie features his daughter Olivia on the track and I guess I was taken back to remembering when my Emily was a few years younger. She is thirteen now and I am starting to realize that my little girl is becoming a young lady.

 Soon will come High School then full fledged Adulthood. While I think I have laid the groundwork for us to have a great relationship for years to come the days of us being happy just being together and "Skipping" are getting numbered.

 I bought a kite at Costco a couple of weeks ago. I think its time for Emily and I to put it together and try to go fly that thing !
