Paul Pena is not a household name. But at least one of his songs is. Pena recorded "Jet Airliner" back in 1973 for his album New Train. Thanks to a dispute with his record company, that album sat collecting dust on a shelf until the year 2000.

Somewhat fortunately for Pena his producer was a former member of the Steve Miller Band, who turned the song into a Top-10 hit and, presumably, paid Pena some royalties.
