On December 15, 2012, Mount Zion Baptist Church will host the annual Christmas Day of Caring event to reach out to families in need in the community in response to a growing need for assistance during the Christmas season. The focus of this event is to show God’s love by helping ease the burden for families who are trying to provide gifts as well as essentials for their loved ones.

Each year we rely on volunteers and generous contributions from individuals and organizations to provide toys for children and gifts for teens, Christmas stockings, as well as lunch, clothing, and toiletries. Last year we served approximately 1,200 children, teens, and families in need in the Seattle and greater community.
